Participate in a formally heralded tournament! The focus will be on the show of combat for the assembled gentles. Each bout will be heralded so the results are clear to those assembled. The format of each tournament will be a single elimination with the best 3 of 5 passes used to determine the victor.
To participate in the Novice tournaments, you must not have won a tournament before.
You must have SCA heraldry to participate in the Heraldic Tournaments. If you currently have SCA heraldry, you must check-in by 11 am on the day of the tournament to participate. If you do not have SCA heraldry, you must check in at 9 am with the consulting heralds to develop your personal SCA heraldry.
You have SCA registered heraldry** on 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of paper.
You must sign-in by 11 am on the day of the tournament to participate (9 am with the consulting heralds if you do not have SCA heraldry).

Alternates between Rapier and Armored bouts.
One winner in each category - Armored and Rapier for each tournament.
Each bout will be heralded.
The printed heraldry will be displayed on the bout board. Additional pieces displaying your heraldry (shields, banners, etc.) is encouraged.
**You must have SCA registered heraldry. If you do not have heraldry or your heraldry is not registered by the SCA, you will need to be at the site by 9am to meet with the heralds to prepare SCA heraldry. Heraldry prepared for submission or currently under review will be accepted as registered for this tournament.
